The word is Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 will be launching on the 11th of October and details on Windows Phone 7 devices have been hitting the net waves in quick succession such as the HTC Trophy 7 and HTC HD7 to name just two.
However more news has come out as according to an article over on Pocket-lint by Rik Henderson, the latest word is that here in the UK all networks will offer Windows Phone 7 devices so that’s Vodafone, O2, Orange, T-Mobile and Three.
Furthermore as of day one, Phones4U and Carphone Warehouse will also be offering Windows Phone 7 smartphones, although none has said which particular Windows Phone 7 device they may be getting. The only network not to jump aboard the WP7 train in the UK as yet is Virgin media.
The director of Mobile Business Group for Microsoft UK, Alex Reeve has said…”This means we can provide network choice and also a range of phones across networks for customers to choose from, all with the power of Windows Phone 7. We are thrilled to be working in partnership with these major industry players.”
