The latest smartphone out of the Research In Motion stable is of course the BlackBerry Torch 9800 and has been available in the US of A on the AT&T network for a while now, but the BlackBerry Torch 9800 will soon be making an appearance on RIM’s home turf.
According to an article over on Mobile Whack the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone will become available on the Bell network in Canada as of the 30th of this month, so only three more days to wait before Canadian Bell customers can grab the device if they so wish.
Pricew wise Bell will offer the BlackBerry Torch 9800 for $180 based on a three year agreement, $450 based on a two year agreement, for a one year agreement the smartphone will cost $550 and if you want the BlackBerry Torch 9800 off contract it will set you back $600.
Quick spec reminder for the BlackBerry Torch, 3.2 inch touch screen, slide QWERTY keyboard, 5 megapixel camera and will be the first BlackBerry smartphone on Canadian soil to pack the Blackberry 6 operating system.
