Cydia has just released a free new app called SecretSMS, which will work on jailbroken iPhone’s; yes you can now send Encrypted Text Messages from your Apple smartphone.

The new SecretSMS is very cool indeed and recipients will not be able to read the text message until they know the password for the encrypted message, this is great if you do not want anyone reading the text message before you do.

This is an app but the clever thing is you can send messages to any phone without installing any app on the receiver’s end, pretty cool hey.

iPhone jailbreak is needed as said above and is totally free via Cydia according to RedmondPie, please do let us know if you have the new SecretSMS installed and how well it works, we would also like to know if you have experienced any problems.
