We already know most of the smartphones that will carry Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 operating system when they arrive, but what smartphones will be part of the Windows Phone first batch in October?
Well according to an article over on WMPoweruser by Surur, a tweet from Forester Researcher Thomas Husson reveals what smartphones will be in that Windows Phone 7 first wave of devices.
Husson tweets that the first batch of Microsoft Windows Phone 7 devices will include the LG Optimus 7, HTC Mozart 7 for Orange, and the Samsung Omnia 7, the last being a new device name although it is suspected that the Samsung Omnia 7 is actually the Samsung GT-i8700.
Unfortunately though there is no word on which Windows Phone 7 device will be going with what carrier once they are released. Still October isn’t that far away now so we should find out more quite soon.
