Putting aside previous reports that China Unicom didn’t have enough iPhone 4 stock to deliver to all customer it appears they either did or Apple quickly restocked China Unicom as the Chinese carrier has now announced they have sold 100,000 units in the first 4 days.
According to an article over on Apple Insider by Josh Ong, China Unicom reported they received in excess of 200,000 pre-orders for the latest Apple smartphone during the lead up week to launch which means half of those now have their device.
However, apparently China Unicom have said that the other 100,000 customers should get their iPhone 4 by the end of next month, which means some may be waiting another four weeks before they see their coveted handset.
Li Gang, senior vice president of China Unicom has said…”The sales of previous versions of iPhones created a solid foundation for the explosive performance of the iPhone 4 this year.”
