During CEATEC 2010 in Japan, Fujitsu showed off a concept mobile phone which uses technology by TAT, TAT first showed off their dual screen interface back at Mobile World Congress in February, buy now Fujitsu’s concept dual screen device does seem ready for production.
We have a video of that Fujitsu twin screen concept phone for your enjoyment courtesy of the guys over at Engadget which lasts almost three and a quarter minutes and shows that the device has two 960 x 480 displays which can be used like a flip phone or twisted round to be side by side.
In the video you get to see the browser and email list scrolling across both screens along with a photo sharing feature that enables the user to slide photos from a gallery on one screen to contacts on the second screen. However given the design and form factor and Japanese interface it look to be only for the Japanese market.
The guys do say though that it wouldn’t surprise them to see the device show up in retail in maybe a year or two. So all that’s left is for you to head on down, hit that play button and check out this Fujitsu concept handset…enjoy.
