So if you are hoping to eventually pick up one of Verizon’s 4G smartphones once one happens to appear, you’ll probably want to know just where in the US you’ll likely be able to use such a device, so maybe you’d like to know the Big Red’s plans for 4G LTE.

Well according to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Andrew Munchbach, Verizon Wireless has indicated that the company’ CEO is to unveil their LTE launch plans during CTIA 2010 in San Francisco at some point today.

Here’s what the Big Red posted to their news site…” Verizon Wireless will hold a news conference during CTIA Enterprise & Applicationsâ„¢ 2010. Lowell McAdam, president and chief operating officer of Verizon, will detail the company’s major 4G LTE network launch.”

As for just when the Big Red will begin unveiling their plans, it should apparently kick off at 11:30 am PDT/ 2:30 EDT; more on this as and when we hear.
