Now you know that old Sammy just wants every carrier in the world to carry their Samsung Galaxy S smartphone, only recently Samsung sent the Galaxy S to Japan, and now a variant of their smartphone is set to release on US Cellular.
According to an article over on Engadget Mobile by Chris Ziegler, the new Galaxy S device is called the Samsung Mesmerize and features all the usual gear associated with other variants such as the Samsung Captivate, Samsung Vibrant and Samsung Fascinate.
Word has it as usual that the Samsung Mesmerize for US Cellular won’t come carrying Android 2.2 Froyo, but apparently the Froyo update has been promised “later this year.”
As for release, the Samsung Mesmerize should hit US Cellular stores on the 27th of this month and commands a price tag of some $199 after an $80 mail in rebate of course.
