If you happen to carry an Android smartphone or a Maemo device and aren’t too happy with your default browser, you have a few options available to you such as the Dolphin browser, and Opera Mobile, and now Firefox too.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Andrew Munchbach Firefox creator Mozilla has now made available Firefox beta version for both the Android platform and the Maemo platform.
Some of the features in Firefox beta for Android and Maemo include pinch and zoom whereby it is double tap for Android and volume rocker on the Nokia N900, location aware browsing, find a page in site menu, share a page in site menu, tabbed browsing in thumbnail view, context menu enables the user open in new tab and share via long tapping and holding a link and much more.
The Mozilla Firefox beta supports any Android device that runs |Android 2.0 and above and also Maemo on the Nokia N900 smartphone.
