GreenPois0n Jailbreak Questions: Will it be Untethered or Tethered?

According to Chpwn the GreenPois0n tethered status is a bit of a surprise, all we want is a smooth day on Sunday so surprises are not needed thank you. Many think the new jailbreak will be untethered but guess we will have to wait and see.
If you visit the source above they report that Veence the iPhone hackers says on Twitter that GreenPois0n Jailbreak will be untethered.

So I take it that greenpois0n will not work on iphone 3G running ios 4.1, if thats correct what a waste, what happend to all devices old and new!!
there is already a way to jailbreak a 3g. This is the jailbreak for devices using Apple's latest hardware chip, the touted A4 (which is in the iPhone 4 and the iPad, and maybe even apple tv).
If you have a 3G, jailbreak it now and ignore the word greenpois0n at all costs.
just use sn0wbreeze 2.02 for your 3g thats what i did
