Everyone probably knows that Sprint is destined to carry the Research In Motion BlackBerry Oxford smartphone, but up until now we weren’t sure on just when the BlackBerry Oxford would see release on Sprint, but now we do.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report, someone over at Sprint sent them a slide of the BlackBerry Oxford which shows not only the BlackBerry Oxford’s release date by price as well.
So here’s how it goes…the BlackBerry Oxford according to the screen will see release on the 31st of October and be available in grey, although apparently a purple handset will be available at some point as Sprint has it as “coming soon.”
So, price for the Sprint BlackBerry Oxford will be, again according to the screen, $99.99 after a mail in rebate of $100 and based on a signing your life away for a 2 year contract, which isn’t a bad price for a RIM headset sporting BlackBerry 6, QWERTY keyboard and a 5 megapixel camera is it.
So now that the release date and price for the BlackBerry Oxford has been revealed is there any of our readership thinking about picking up the device, if so shout out in our comments area.
