There appears to be some issues with the Android 2.2 Froyo update which hit the Motorola Droid X smartphone and since then Motorola has acknowledged an issue with Droid X messaging, but now Motorola is also acknowledging other issues.
According to an article over on Android Central by Jared DiPane and by way of Motorola Support, here are a few of the issues being faced with Android 2.2 Froyo on the Motorola Droid X device…
There’s an issue with the device being stuck on the Moto logo when rebooting, however a fix is on its way for this in a future software update, random rebooting, again i9mprovements for this will come in a software update, battery manager “force close” problem, again Motorola has developed a fix.
Droid X WiFi connectivity and stability, WiFi improvements have been developed and will be released in a software update, final four seconds of music play cutting off, and media will not play a fix for both has been developed and will be released in a software update.
So it would appear that all the reported issues with the Motorola Droid X have been fixed but Motorola hasn’t said just when that software update would be available, but until it does arrive if you find a new bug report it.
