A new smartphone out of the HTC camp has just been announced for Europe in the form of the Android packing HTC Gratis smartphone, which apparently will be available in three colours when it hits European countries.
According to an article over on Ubergizmo, The HTC Gratia isn’t one of HTC’s Windows Phone 7 devices but rather another Android handset which will apparently land running the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system.
Spec wise the HTC Gratia spots a 3.2 inch touch screen, a 5 megapixel camera and front facing VGA camera, a 600 MHz processor, WiFi, Bluetooth, G, proximity and ambient light sensors, digital compass, 512MB ROM, 384MB RAM and microSD expansion.
As for those three colours the HTC Gratia will be available in black, white, and green and should hit in November however there is no word on which European countries will see the HTC Gratia or just how much the device will cost.
So it looks like HTC isn’t going to just be concentrating on Windows Phone 7 handsets and will still push out Android devices, anyone interested in the HTC Gratia?
