It’s been some time since Canada’s Rogers announced the coming of the Samsung Captivate to the great white space, and a couple of months one the Android device still hasn’t made an appearance on the Rodgers network, but may well do soon.

According to an article over on Unwired View by Vlad Bobleanta, Rogers Redboard has now issued an update on the Samsung Captivate release on the Rogers network and that released date is scheduled for the 25th of this month, so only a few days away.

Price wise the Rogers Samsung Captivate will apparently command a price tag of some $179.99 on condition you sign up for a new three year Rogers agreement.

If however your are already a Rogers customer and wish to upgrade to the Samsung Captivate you can do so by visiting your local store and shelling out a special price of $149.99 until the 2nd of November.

So there you have it, if you have been waiting for the Rogers Samsung Captivate you only have three more days left to wait.
