All you Nokia fans over in Canada who might be hoping to grab the new Symbian^3 Nokia flagship smartphone, the Nokia N8, you’ll be pleased to hear that the word is the Nokia N8 will be coming to the great white by way of Rogers Wireless.
According to an article over on Mobile Syrup by Ian Hardy, they have come by a Rogers internal document which makes a point of showing that “features the first 12MP camera of any phone in Canada – a new 12 megapixel camera costs approximately $300-$400.”
Word is Rogers will be launching the Nokia N8 smartphone “in the coming weeks,” although there’s no hint of what price Rogers will be asking for Nokia’s flagship handset.
In case you have forgotten, Nokia N8 specs include a 3.5 inch AMOLED touch screen, Symbian^3 operating system, that 12MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, auto-focus , Xenon flash and 720p video, Ovi services, video calling, 680MHz processor, 16GB storage expandable up to 48GB and a 3.5mm jack.
