The latest smartphone from Acer, the Acer Liquid Metal has an October launch date for the United Kingdom, but what about the device being launched in the United States? Well apparently the Acer Liquid Metal is now with the FCC.
According to an article over on Engadget by Thomas Ricker, the Acer Liquid Metal has now been spotted at the FCC sporting GSM/EDGA 850/1900 along with WCDMA band II and V, meaning the Acer Liquid Metal is a likely candidate to play nice of the AT&T network.
The FCC filing also confirms the Acer Liquid Metal’s 3.6 inch touch screen, GPS, Android 2.2 Froyo OS, Bluetooth, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and an 800 MHz Qualcomm MSM 7230-1 processor.
Thus it would appear that the Android toting Acer Liquid Metal should hit North America before too long. So are any of our American readers interested in snapping up the Acer Liquid Metal if or when it hit’s the Big Blue?
