It would appear that the price of the Motorola Droid Pro smartphone which is destined to play nice on Verizon Wireless has had its price outed by a test page, and would look to be quite a high priced handset when compared to other Android devices with the Big Red.
According to an article over on Intomobile by Marc Flores, and by way of Droid-life, the test page for the Motorola Droid Pro shows that the price is set at a rather high $299, but other than that the page doesn’t actually reveal any more.
We do know however that the Droid Pro will pack a 3.1 inch touch screen, 5 megapixel camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 1GHz processor, Bluetooth, aGPS, GPS, 512MB RAM, 2GB ROM, 8GB memory, microSD expandable up to 32GB, DLNA, Google apps, a portrait physical QWERTY keyboard and of course Android 2.2 Froyo.
However, the test page doesn’t offer any rebate information, so there is always a chance that when Verizon does released the Motorola Droid Pro the price could be lower. So would you be prepared to purchase the Droid Pro at $299, or would you give it a miss at that price point?
