For all you Aussie folk down under who may have been holding out purchasing a new smartphone in order to snap up the latest smartphone out of the HTC camp, the HTC Desire HD, it appears you won’t have too much longer to wait.
According to an article over on Android Central by Sean Brunett, HTC has now announced that the HTC Desire HD will be available in Australia in early November and can be gained from either Vodafone or Three Mobile.
A quick spec reminder for the HTC Desire HD, a 4.3 inch super LCD display, 1GHz Qualcomm processor, 8 megapixel camera with auto-focus duel LED flash and 720p video recording, Bluetooth, WiFi, 3.5mm jack, AGPS, HTC Sense, 1.5GB internal memory and microSDHC expansion, and Android OS.
Apparently the HTC Desire HD will be a free handset with Vodafone at $50 over a 2 year term, but as yet there is no word on how much 3 Mobile will offer the HTC Desire HD for, and specific release dates have yet to be announced.
