One of the new smartphones to pack the latest operating system from Microsoft, Windows Phone 7 is of course the Dell Venue Pro handset, which it has been said is one of the more attractive Windows Phone 7 devices.
However, it appears that maybe the Dell Venue Pro may not just be for Windows Phone 7 as according to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Zach Epstein, PC World is reporting that Dell has plans to release “a smartphone resembling the Dell Venue Pro” but will apparently run the Android platform.
The Windows Phone 7 Dell Venue Pro is a sleek portrait slider QWERTY that sports a 4.1 inch capacitive touch screen Windows Phone 7 standard OS, 1GHz processor and a 5 megapixel camera, but whether an Android version will carry the same type of specs is unknown.
However when the BGR contacted Dell about this new Android Dell Venue Pro, Dell told them that they have not announced anything at the moment, but that isn’t a total denial that there won’t be a Dell Venue Pro Android doppelganger is it; more on this as and when we hear.
