For those over in Canada who might be interested in the new Palm Pre 2 smartphone, it appears that the Canadian Palm Pre 2 will be making an appearance on the Rogers network at some point in the future.
According to an article over on Intomobile by Simon Sage, Ian Hardy of Mobile Syrup has come into possession of a shot of the Rogers Palm Pre 2 retail box which basically lets the cat well and truly out of the bag where the Palm Pre 2 is concerned.
Apparently there is also a tentative release date for the smartphone on the Rogers network, being the 9th of November, although that hasn’t been confirmed, and a word on rumoured pricing has it the device will cost $99.99 when signing on for a three year term, again unconfirmed.
What the packaging image does confirm though is the Palm Pre 2 will come with a removable and rechargeable Li-ion battery, charger, microUSB sync cable, headset and all the usual paraphernalia found in the box. Spec wise we already know that the Palm Pre 2 will have a 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera, glass display and of course HP webOS 2.0.
