Does the removal of any trace of the white iPhone 4 from Apple’s online store actually lend credence to the rumour that Apple has given up trying to perfect the white version of the iconic iPhone?
As you probably know by now the word is that following a rumour that the white iPhone 4 had again been delayed until the spring of 2011, the BGR reported that they had heard that Apple has actually cancelled the release of the white iPhone 4.
Now an article over on i4u by Luigi Lugmayr says that the white iPhone 4 is now gone from Apple’s iPhone page on their online store which tends to support the rumour that the device has been cancelled no doubt much to the annoyance of many iPhone customers who have held on to gain the white version.
Apparently the rumour is that the white iPhone 4 has been cancelled to make way for the new iPhone 5 which is expected in June/July, but what about those customers who have waited patiently and followed Apple’s promise that the white iPhone 4 would be released “later this year?” surely Apple owes it to them to get the white version out there.
Apple owns those customers some explanation as to whether this latest rumour is true or false, so if you are unhappy about this latest move by Apple feel free to shout out your views on this matter by posting a comment to our comments area below.
