Now here is one to think about, apparently the Droid 2 by Motorola will be joining the HTC Incredible in the free category today aka Free Phone Friday at Best Buy.

According to Droid Life Best Buy’s Free Phone Friday promo will be added the Motorola Droid 2 smartphone even, now we are wondering if this is at all true judging on what one comment says on Droid Life.

Someone called Best Buy Nick has commented on the site and quotes “I am a Best Buy mobile Agent, and the Moto Droid 2 IS NOT Free today, 10/29. If you notice, there is no DATE listed on the pictured Add. This could easily be Future pricing as much as 6 months to a year in advance. Don’t believe everything you read, Photo shop is Awesome!!!”

Then he goes on to say: Motorola DROID 2 Mobile Phone – Dark Sapphire (Verizon Wireless) Model: MOTA955 | SKU: 1178045, $199.99* and Reg. Price: $599.99 with (Current) 2-year contract extension.
