We wrote a few articles covering this issue talking about that 4.2 update could fix the problem, then we mentioned about the unlock process can get into your contacts plus it stops incoming calls once you have tried the unlock.

Well it is good news that the new iOS 4.2 gold master update that was released to developers will fix the unlock bypass problem, we can see the new OS update coming next week to the public seeing as last year iOS 4.1 GM was released to developers one week before the public release.
