Something really interested has landing on our lap that seems to be left in the dark when it comes to new iOS 4.2 iPad features, we are talking MIDI baby yes MIDI API.
This is one of the coolest features being added and no one at all is talking about it, well thanks to Mike Keller via PCWorld he has brought it to our attention and we are on his side to get this information out there to iPad owners.
The Apple iPad is getting closer and closer in features to the iPhone, iOS 4.2 will bring multitasking, folders and Game Center to the iPad and other features coming from this new operating system update will include AirPrint wireless printing, AirPlay media streaming and much more.
However, our attention is on MIDI power seeing as no one else other than the source above is talking about it, the digital music interface was invented way back in the 1980’s and it seems that slipping pass the MIDI API’s that’s been added to the first 4.2 beta is quite astonishing.
Do you think that it will work very well using the iPhone’s accelerometer and gyroscope as MIDI input? Please do let us know what you think in the comments area below.
