If you are a Sprint customer and one of the Android faithful looking to pick up an entry level Android smartphone on the Sprint network, Sprint has now announced when the Android LG Optimus S handset will become available.
According to an article over on Android Central by Sean Brunett, Sprint has announced that the LG Optimus S smartphone will be available as of this Sunday the 7th of November.
For those that are unaware, the LG Optimus S handset offers a 3.2 inch capacitive touch screen, a 3.2 megapixel camera, runs the Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, and has mobile hotspot capability, Sprint ID, and microSD expansion up to 32GB.
The LG Optimus S will cost $49.99 when signing on for a Sprint two year agreement and after a $100 mail in rebate. However as of the 7th you will only be able to get the LG Optimus S in Charcoal but the Purple version is due release on the 21st of November.
