As you’re probably aware, it is expected that Adobe will update their Flash 10.1 in a couple of days time on the 9th of November, an update that is expected to fix a security problem; however apparently the new description on the apps market page possibly hints at something else.
According to an article over on Droid-life by Kellex, could Adobe be letting slip that Android 2.3 Gingerbread is on its way? Here’s what the Adobe update description says…
“ATTENTION: Please install the upcoming 11/9 update (ver. 10.1.105.x) to ensure that Flash Player loads properly with future OS updates.”
It’s that last bit of the description, the “loads properly with future OS updates,” that may hint towards Android 2.3 Gingerbread being almost ready to drop, and well along with a previous rumour that Gingerbread will appear on the 11th of this month this could well signify that Gingerbread is almost ready.
