The new iOS 4.2 is releasing any day now, which could be anywhere between tomorrow right up until November 12, everyone has been talking about the new operating system on the iPhone 4 and 3GS including us so now some love for the iPhone 3G.

Apparently according to TiPB and a video they have on their site there is going to be a speed boost performance to the 3G Apple smartphone.

Speed performance was not that great with iOS 4.0, things got a little better with the OS 4.1 update so now hopefully when the iOS 4.2 GM goes public things will be right up to speed.

Tests on the iOS 4.2 gold master on an iPhone 3G shows that performance is much better, please watch the video provided below and let us know what you think.
