If you use the Skype app on your Android device as your preferred way of communication you may like to know that Skype for Android has now been updated bringing the version to Skype 1.0.1.
According to Android Police and by way of Skype Blog, the updated version of Skype for Android now supports 320 x 240 resolution QVGA screens just like Rovio’s latest update to Android Angry Birds app.
The addition to the new resolution in Skype 1.0.1 for Android now means such smartphones as the LG Optimus T ad S, the Motorola Charm and HTC Wildfire can now use the Skype for Android application which can be downloaded from the Android Market.
Other improvements in Skype 1.0.1 for Android include, reduced power consumption in idle mode, when you sign out of Skype you new exit Skype, improved behaviour and login stability, now supports hardware back key, reduced app size, large contacts list improvements and numerous bug fixes.
