According to an article over on New Vision, the president of Mobile Monday International, Jari Tammisto has said whilst at the Nyonyi Gardens in Kololo, Kampala, “You should develop a network for mobile technology development in Uganda, just like we are developing one across the world.”
Mobile Monday International is a global network consisting of developers, visionaries, entrepreneurs and mobile industry professionals in over one hundred cities across the globe.
Tammisto also stated that they have launched the Mobile 4 Development project which will run under the theme of “Simple low-cost Solutions, the gist of M4D,” and added that small mobile tech operators should work with larger mobile operators to be able to survive in the industry.
