There seems to be quite a few Optimus smartphones from LG out there in as much as LG has now reached the one million handsets sold milestone with the LG Optimus One smartphone after only 40 days since launch.
According to an article over on Intomobile by Kelly Hodgkins, the LG Optimus One Android handset has become the fastest selling smartphone in LG’s history and could well become the first LG device to surpass the 10 million units sold milestone.
The LG Optimus One is still going great guns and should be available from 120 partners and carriers in the not too distant future, and over in the good ole US of A, the LG Optimus One has taken the same route as the Samsung Galaxy S with 3 major carriers.
Thus in the states the LG Optimus One is the LG Optimus S on Sprint selling at $49, the LG Optimus T on T-Mobile selling as a free handset, the LG Vortex on the Verizon network selling for $79 while without contract the Optimus One retails at $300 in the USA.
