For anyone here in the UK whose preferred carrier is 3 UK you may be interested to hear that 3 UK is going to start offering the Apple iPad even thought the Apple iPad 2 will be coming along in the not too distant future.

According to an article over on Slash Gear by Evan Selleck, and by way of the 3UK Blog, 3UK will offer Apple’s tablet baby sometime in the “coming months,” although the carrier doesn’t offer any other info at this point.

However 3UK does say that they will offer the Apple iPad with WiFi and 3G access but no actual word on any confirmed release date or what the asking price they will be wanting for the device.

The thing is will people jump on 3UK to pick up the Apple iPad when it is rumoured the next generation Apple iPad 2 will come sometime next year, I mean why pick up the old iPad if you can pick up the new iPad 2 shortly after? It seems to me that 3 UK is coming to the iPad game a little late if not too late, what do you think?
