If you are an iOS gamer on the iPhone, iPod Touch or Apple iPad, you just might be interested to hear that the Infinity Blade mobile game which was first demonstrated at an Apple media event back in September is to be released by Epic Games to the App Store on the 9th of December.

According to an article over on Touch Arcade, Infinity Blade for iOS devices will be a universal application that means the game will be able to run on the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, Apple iPad and 3rd/4th generation iPhone Touch units.

I’m sure all you iPhone toting gamers out there enjoy a bit of fantasy sword wielding cut and slash gaming whilst chopping down over sized ugly adversaries, so Infinity Blade may be just up your street.

As for just how much Infinity Blade will set iOS gamers back once it released to the App Store in a few days time, will word has it the game will hit your pocket for $5.99, not too much for your daily fix of slash and stab is it.
