The Dell Streak has already gained Android 2.2 Froyo on unlocked handsets over in the states but if you own a Dell Streak on the AT&T network you have thus far been out of luck, but that is soon to change.
According to an article over on Device Mag and by way of The Droid Guy, the Android 2.2 Froyo update is now ready for users of the Dell Streak with a 2 year contract on the AT&T network.
Word is although some AT&T Dell Streak devices have already gained the update, AT&T isn’t rolling out Froyo to all the Streak handsets on their network just yet, so you’ll need to be patient and keep your eyes open for the update to hit.
You are probably already aware what Android 20.2Froyo will bring to the Dell Streak, stuff such as user interface tweaks, a better dialler, portable Hotspot and USB tethering, Dell Stage UI, Swype keyboard app, new back up and restore app, and of course Adobe Flash 10.1 for 720p video.
