Well it appears there’s no more need for speculation when it comes to the Google Nexus S smartphone as apparently the Google guys have now gone all official with the latest Android smartphone from Samsung.

According to an article over on Engadget by Chris Ziegler, Google has now gone live with the Nexus S landing page which gives up all the details of the device including a 4 inch WVGA touch screen, 5 megapixel camera, NFC, tri-band HSPA with AWS but no HSPA+, 512MB RAM and 16GB storage.

The Nexus S will be going with T-Mobile and also features Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, integrated VoIP, gyroscope, 1GHz Cortex A8 based Hummingbird processor, and something that is known as “contour display.”

Furthermore the guys over at the official Google Blog have come up with the release dates for the Nexus S which will be the 16th of this month online and in Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile stores in the US while the in the UK the Nexus S will see release on the 20th of this month and available from Best Buy UK and the Carphone Warehouse.
