As it is the festive season if you are out and about driving and need some GPS navigation help along the way to your destination it only seems fitting that the voice of Santa should deliver that turn-by-turn navigation audio to your festive ears, no?
According to an article over on Intomobile by Dusan Belic social GPS app/service Waze has announced a “revolutionary partnership with Santa Claus,” which basically means if you use their app Santa’s jolly tones with guide you on your journey.
But wait, that’s not all, apparently this joining of Waze and the white bearded guys of the North Pole also includes a mobile game that features festive themed road gifts whereby the user collects to gain extra points such as Santa hats which are apparently rare delivering 100 points while candy canes score 10 points and snowflakes score 2 points just to keep you amused.
Apparently Waze is available for numerous mobile platforms including iOS, Symbian, Android and BlackBerry, oh and Windows Mobile and available in several languages which are fairly easy to set by clicking “Settings” then “General” then “Prompts” and select your language.
The Waze app is a free download for your preferred smartphone from the Waze website, and just so you know what Santa’s voice actually sounds like we have a quick video demo of Waze using Santa’s voice for turn-by-turn navigation below, so punch that jolly old play button and enjoy…ho, ho, ho.
