For those people over in India who have been waiting for the release of the successor to the Samsung Wave smartphone, the Samsung Wave II, the Bada OS spotting handset is now available for you to purchase.
According to an article over on PC World by Jayesh Shinde, Samsung hasn’t changed much with the Samsung Wave II due to attempting to keep “the essence of a winning formula pretty much intact.”
Spec wise the Samsung Wave II offers the user a bigger display than its predecessor at 3.7 inches and forgoes the Super AMOLED opting to user a Super Clear Display and if you wish to check out the differences between Super AMOLED and Super Clear LCD you can do so by hitting up (here)
Other specs on the Samsung Wave II include a 1GHz Hummingbird processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, 720p video, 2GB built-in memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM radio,, 3.5mm jack and of course Bada 1.2 OS.
For those wishing to purchase the Samsung Wave II there are two online retailers offering the smartphone, Flipkart and Univercell for an asking price of Rs. 18999, and the device should hit stores across India throughout this week.
