For anyone in India looking to snap up the Android 2.2 Froyo packing HTC Desire HD you may like to know that the Android smartphone is now available for pre-order and also has gained a nice drop in asking price.
According to an article over on Techtree by Samir Makwana, online retail store Flipkart is now accepting pre-orders for the HTC Desire HD smartphone and is offering the device not for the official price of RS. 30319, but just RS. 27499.
The HTC Desire HD is expected to see release some time next week in India and offers the user a 4.3 inch LCD touch screen, runs Android 2.2 Froyo operating system, the new Fast Boot feature, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, Dolby Mobile Surround Sound, Flash Player 10.1, WiFi, 3G, and 1.5GB internal storage.
This lower price for the HTC Desire HD brings the smartphone in line with rival handsets such as the Samsung Galaxy S which commands a price tag of RS. 26800, and the HTC Desire which roughly commands RS. 28900.
So if you have been patiently waiting for the chance to pre-order the HTC Desire HD in India you can now do so and benefit from the lower price. Anyone tempted to snap up the handset?
