With Verizon’s 4G LTE network on the roll out we heard news that Motorola will deliver a 4G enabled smartphone for the Big Red’s LTE network yesterday and now it appears that Samsung will also be delivering an LTE handset to Verizon.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report by Andrew Munchbach, Gizmodo has received an image of a Samsung Android smartphone which is apparently destined to play nice on the Verizon LTE network at some point.
Apparently the Sammy handset is the Samsung SCH-1520 and sports a front facing camera whilst running Android 2.2.1 Froyo, will also carry Samsung’s TouchWiz UI but won’t have Bing.
Other than that there’s not much else known about this new Samsung Android LTE device but there is always a possibility we’ll learn more at CES 2011 along with more info on other LTE enabled smartphones such as the one from Motorola.
