A little while ago Samsung snatched back the Android 2.2 Froyo update for Canadian versions of the Samsung Galaxy S, the Samsung Vibrant of Bell, Virgin Mobile and SaskTel due to issues as reported (here)

Well fear now Canadian Samsung Vibrant owners as according to an article over on Engadget by Chris Ziegler, Sammy’s support website for Canada is showing the availability of a new Android 2.2 Froyo update for the Samsung Vibrant on Bell, Virgin Mobile and SaskTel.

Furthermore there is also another Android 2.3 Froyo update released for the Samsung Fascinate on the Telus network which Sammy had originally stated would come next year.

So hopefully this latest re-release of Android 2.2 Froyo for the Canadian variants of the Samsung Galaxy S will not cause so many problems as with the first release, but of course if you do have any problems with this latest release feel free to voice your annoyance in our comments area below.
