Apple has now opened their new online Mac App Store which offers 1000 applications to users of home computers, and each app will work on any MacBook or iMac desktop computer that is running Snow Leopard.
And according to an article over on The Sun by Jonathan Weinberg, the new Apple store opened and within minute’s multi-platform game Angry Birds which has done extremely well on the Apple iPhone, Apple iPad, and the Android platform shot to the number one slot for paid apps costing £2.99.
Apparently Andrew Lim of Recombu, said…“The Mac App Store is a fantastically easy way to find and download software on to a desktop computer.”
Although not really to do with smartphones or mobile devices we just thought you’d like to know that the new Mac App Store is now open and it looks like mobile apps will be making the transfer to desktop and still be just as successful.
