The latest Android smartphone out of the Sony Ericsson camp that’s grabbed quite a bit of attention is the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, and the only real thing not known is when the device will come out and play with the public along with any pricing, however there may be a bit of news on one of those points.
According to an article over on Engadget by Darren Murph, we may see the release of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc within a few months as apparently the Indonesian arm of Sony Ericsson has posted an image of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset with a little info.
Apparently the information in the post translates to “Present 3 months longer,” which should place the release of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc somewhere in April; still no word on just how much the device will hit your pocket for though.
For those that may have missed it the specs of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc according to Android Central are, a 4.2 inch Reality Display, 1GHz processor, 8 megapixel auto-focus camera with 720p video and LED flash, A-GPS, HDMI out, 512MB memory, 8GB SD card installed and expandable up to 32GB, Bluetooth, WiFi, Facebook app, DLNA, Wisepilot turn-by-turn navigation and a 3.5mm jack.
