Verizon iPhone Caution Consumer Reports: Should You Buy?
Now that the Verizon iPhone is finally going to become a reality one would have thought everyone would be quite happy with the outcome; however apparently people should use caution whn thinking about snapping up the CDMA iPhone.
According to an article over on Slash Gear, by way of Information Week, the people over at Consumer Reports are advising caution and to perhaps hold off diving right in and nabbing a Verizon iPhone as they may be stuck with a “short lived” handset.
Apparently the people who still wont recommend the iPhone 4 due to the antenna issues believes the iPhone 4 is beginning to “show its age,” and will soon be replaced by the iPhone 5 later in the year.
Have to say, Consumer Reports does have a point, you have to shell out a wad of cash to get the Verizon iPhone and sign up for a 2 year agreement and Apple will undoubtedly push out the iPhone 5 later this year so maybe it is best to hold off and wait.
What are our readers views on this matter, will you wait for the iPhone 5 or snap up the Verizon iPhone in a couple of weeks?

Android phones are replaced within 3 to 6 months so it you are coming from that camp, this doesn't seem like a big deal, but if you are a current iPhone user, you are used to 1 year cycles and you probably upgrade every 1 to 3 years so this is just a matter of perspective.
