With all the rumour about the white iPhone 4 hitting the net it seems that the Google guys aren’t about to be outdone by Apple when it comes to pushing out a white model of a smartphone, as apparently a new white Samsung Nexus S smartphone has been spotted.

According to an article over on Intomobile by Blake Stimac and by way of Mobile Crunch, German blog Bestboyz have posted an image of a white model of the Samsung built Google Nexus S.

Apparently according to the sites unnamed tipster the white Google Nexus S will ship in Germany for definite but there’s no word on whether the rest of the world will get their hands on the white version of the Android 2.3 Gingerbread handset.

However, it is possible that a white version of the Google Nexus S will eventually make it to other countries including the US and if so would the Samsung Nexus S white be exclusive to Best Buy? One would presume so as the original black model is also a Best Buy exclusive.

Unfortunately though as you can tell from the image it’s only the back cover of the Nexus S that sports the white hue which is a shame as a white front would make is that much more attractive, and probably why so many people are after the white iPhone 4.

So if the Samsung Nexus S white does eventually break out of Germany, would any of our Android fan readers consider purchasing it?
