Mobile World Congress 2011 in Barcelona isn’t that far off and it appears that Samsung will be unveiling a couple of new Android products during the event if the info a Samsung PR plan has revealed is correct.
According to an article over on Yahoo! News, the boys over at Pocket-lint, by way of Intomobile, have come across a Samsung PR plan, which touts the next generation Samsung Galaxy Tab and next generation Samsung Galaxy S.
The Sammy PR plan list both the new devices, the Galaxy S 2 and the Galaxy Tab 2 under “Product Presentations,” so we could possibly see both devices unveiled at MWC 2011 on the 13th of February.
Apparently rumoured specifications for the Samsung Galaxy S 2 handset are, a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED 2 touch screen, 1GHz per core dual-core processor, 8 megapixel camera with flash, 1GB RAM, HD video recording and Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS.
The Pocket-lint guys also list a few leaked specs to do with the Samsung Galaxy Tab which are, a 7 inch Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass display, NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash and 1080p video, 3 megapixel front facing camera, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread which will be updated to Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
