Well now it looks like the Google guys are gearing up to maybe release the latest generation of their Android operating system, you know, the one that’s especially for Android tablets, Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
According to an article over on Slash Gear, the Google guys have now dispatched invites to publishers to their event, which will take place on Wednesday the 2nd of February at Mountain View and will apparently take an in-depth look at Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
According to Mashable Android 3.0 Honeycomb is the first operating system from the Android camp just for tablets, something we all already know, and Android Honeycomb is running on the Motorola Xoom tablet, which they managed to get their hands on a while ago and made a video demo which you can view below.
As for that Android Honeycomb event, apparently it will be streamed live to youtube.com/android once the event begins at 9.15AM California time, after which no doubt the whole world will know all there is to know about Android 3.0 Honeycomb.
Will we find out anything new about Android 3.0 Honeycomb, will Google have any surprises in store? Only one way to find out and that is to check back on Wednesday.
