goGlyph Location Based Social Networking iOS App Released
Another new social networking app has now become available for iOS devices whereby users can create messages and post them to their present location, and the app for the iPhone, iPod Touch and Apple iPad is called goGlyph.
goGlyph for iOS users introduces location based social messaging whereby visitors to that location can view messages within 1000, 100 or 10 metres of their location and enables the app users to share their location with others and save their favourite locations so they can be viewed from any location.
With the goGlyph app users can adjust the radius of messages around their location, display message locations on a map, view messages of a single user regardless of location, share locations with friends, and authorised users can display announcements when users are within one hundred metres of the announcement point.
goGlyph is available to download as a free app to your Apple iPad, iPod Touch or iPhone running iOS 4.2 or later from iTunes.

I see the potential …a network tied by a location and not friends or common interest. With even a small group of users in a location the utility of the application is obvious. The more users in a town or region would make this a great app.
