Verizon iPhone 4 Death Grip Antenna Issues on 3G: Video
It has been said that with the arrival of the Verizon iPhone the antenna issues of the AT&T iPhone, which became known as antennagate or the “death grip”, would no longer be an issue; however are those claims correct?
Well what we have for your viewing pleasure below is a video that shows the Verizon iPhone being tested with the “death grip” and with another way of holding the CDMA iPhone that’s called the “death hug” whereby the user cradles the iPhone in landscape.
The Verizon iPhone 4 Antenna Issues video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Daily iPhone Blog and by way of iLounge, and delivers a tad over seven minutes of testing the antenna of the latest iOS device.
It would appear that when using 3G the “death grip” does affect the Verizon iPhone to some extent although when using WiFi it doesn’t, and the “death hug” does affect the CDMA iPhone over WiFi by slowing loading down drastically.
However, using a case both the “death grip” and death hug” goes away as with the original AT&T iPhone. So head on down and punch that play button to check out the possible antenna issues with the Verizon iPhone, and feel free to voice your opinions to our comments area.

who cares… nobody holds their phone like that anyways. if you do, just don't.
who the hell "death grips" or "death hugs" their phone anyway?!?!?…that's frikin insane…have you tried that with any other phone??
Listen, this is foolishness. The iPhone 4 does NOT have an antenna issue. The death grip is false as Apple has proved.
Don't believe? There proof is right here: http://goo.gl/KfKsv
