The iPad 2 goes on sale soon and Toshiba believe that their new upcoming Honeycomb 3.0 Tablet is more superior, so here is a little iPad 2 vs Toshiba Tablet.
Toshiba Australia is hoping to release its new Honeycomb 3.0 tablet May 2011 and they are looking at selling the 10-inch tablet PC for around $600 or as near to the iPad 2 as possible, this would surely make this device more popular than the Motorola Xoom or even the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Anyway, this is about the iPad 2 and the Toshiba tablet; Rob Wilkinson, General Manager of Toshiba Australia’s Information Systems Division say’s “We are confident that we can match Apple pricing for their new iPad 2 while delivering a device that is richer in features. We are currently showing retailers the device running Google’s new Honeycomb, and when we ship in May, we will have a full version of Honeycomb 3 running”.
He also said that the Toshiba tablet is superior to the Apple device and that this device coming around May time has many features that the Apple iPad 2 is missing.
The Toshiba Tablet Main Features Include: Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core processor, integrated HDMI port, Adobe Flash support, 1080p video decoding, full resolution video, accelerometer screen reorientation, supports multi-touch, two camera at 2MP resolution and 5MP, Bluetooth, 802.11n Wi-Fi, GPS, digital compass and stereo speakers.
What has the Toshiba Tablet got the iPad 2 hasn’t? How about full-sized USB, SD card expansion, mini-USB sync, 32GB on-board storage, resolution video enhancement, which upscales standard-def video to full HD. This tablet also has a removable battery and we know the iPad 2 does not.
What are your thoughts on the new Toshiba Tablet, we will bring you more information soon. Please post your comments below.
