Angry Birds Comes to Windows Phone 7 25th May
It appears that owners of Windows Phone 7 smartphone will soon be able to get in on some green pig bashing as word has it that the hugely popular multi-platform mobile game from Rovio, Angry Birds is heading for Windows Phone 7 device.
According to an article over on the Boy Genius Report, Microsoft vice president Joe Belfiore, during a meeting with allthingsD has confirmed that Angry Birds will release on Windows Phone 7 as of the 25th of next month.
Unfortunately Belfiore didn’t make any hints at whether Angry Birds for Window Phone 7 would be free like Android or cost like iOS; furthermore it is unclear at this time what version of Angry Birds will become available via the Windows marketplace.
Thus come the 25th of May not only will Windows Phone 7 gain some Angry Birds action, but this will mean that the only modern operating system not to support the Angry Birds game will be BlackBerry, but no doubt Rovio will eventually have their game on all platforms.
