During this year’s MIX Microsoft revealed the minimum spec requirements for the latest Windows Phone 7 operating system, and we have some video footage of MIX session 11 which explains the new tweaks and more for your viewing pleasure below.
The video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Engadget, and by way of Mobile Tech World and Channel 9, and delivers some insight into what Microsoft Windows Phone architecture require.
Current Windows Phone 7 devices use a Qualcomm MSM8x50 Snapdragon processor along with Adreno 200 graphics, but they have now been upgraded to a second generation Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8x55 along with Adreno 205 graphics and apparently there’s an option for a Qualcomm MSM7x30 along with a gyroscope.
It’s much easier if I just let you head on down and hit that play button so you can hear all about it from Istvan Cseri himself, so with that said, off you go and enjoy.
Update:It appears that for some strange reason the video wont work here, but you can check it out by hitting up Channel9.
